Cooling

  • Why is my COOLER not COOLING

    This could be from a number of different factors, including but not limited to

    • Thermostat Temp is higher than room
    • Thermostat Battery needs to be changed
    • Blown Fuses
    • Dirty or Damaged Air Filter
    • Refrigerant

    Once you’ve checked your Thermostat and your Breakers for blown fuses and the problems are not resolved, it’s highly recommended to contact a HVAC Certified Technician to diagnose the issues properly. 

  • How often should the Air Filters be replaced?

    It’s recommended to clean or replace your air filter once a year.

  • When should I replace my AC unit?

    The life-span of an AC unit has many variables

    • Make & Model
    • Maintenance
    • Frequency of Use
    • and more

    Typically, AC units older than 15 years should be replaced by more energy efficient models to reduce costs of energy and future repairs.  However, a unit that is well maintained consistently will last more than 20 years.

Heating

  • Why is my heater blowing cold air? Heater not heating?

    Various problems can lead to your heater blowing cold air.  The most common are:

    • Check Thermostat
    • Change batteries for thermostat
    • Dirty Air Filter
    • Pilot light
    • Check breakers

    If you've checked the above list and your heater is still blowing cold air, call us immediately as there may be a leak in your ducts and requires proper insulation or there's an electrical issue.

  • Furnace Does Not Blow Any Air

    A.Using the inspection window, check for debris in the furnace, it should be clear. If the furnace light is flashing red, call for service.
